Lower Columbia All First Nations

Aboriginal Health

The Lower Columbia River All First Nations supports Aboriginal Health. Through the auspices of Interior Health Aboriginal people, communities and organizations participate in providing political, economic and cultural context in programming decisions at Interior Health. What this input allows is to provide a comprehensive strategy for improving the quality of life and health care for the most significantly impacted segment of the population. The Aboriginal population currently experiences the lowest health status of all British Columbians.

Lisa Sloot is the Aboriginal Community Health Representative for the West Kootenay Boundary Area. As the Aboriginal Health Representative, working out of the Lower Columbia All first Nations office.
